Diet Mistakes

16 Dec 2021

This is probably the best time to be a fitness professional. Everyone rounds seems to have a reason to stay fit and get in their best shape. Honestly, apart from enjoying the monitoring gains, it is immensely satisfying to see the change in mindsets of people.Everyone is ready to shed a little out of their pockets to invest in their health. May it be for a lifestyle, vacation or wedding. This creates a curiosity among people to know which diet works for them and they randomly start looking up for free tips on everyone’s favorite GOOGLE uncle.

Almost 80% of them end up giving up as they fail to see results, or find it too difficult to follow, but rarely does it cross their mind that they have made huge mistakes in the process which has lead them to give up on their plan.

What are they??

1: Aggressive beginning:

everyone wants results with a blink of an eye. They will start by making a total 180-degree switchand will cut off all the favorite food and will drastically cut down calories. This is probably the worse situation to be in.

You will definitely see results with this, but it will only last a few weeks. Eventually your body or you will get tired of the strict routine and give up or the result will stop coming due to metabolism adaptation. Either way you will end up giving up.

2: Expecting too much:

There is nothing wrong in expecting results of the work and efforts you are putting in. It’s logical as well. If you are doing most of the things right consistently, you should see a linear graph of success, but it just does not work that way. Our Body is a smart processor. It will adapt itself without us letting it know that it has to. It will follow its own due processes and will make the changes accordingly. All you have to do is stay patience and trust the process. Most people won’t and they end up make too many experiments and screw up their progress.

3: Being fooled my Supplements:

Every wants a magic pill to lose weight and get in their dream body, but does a magic pill really exist???, it does yes it does, it’s called Dieting consistently and adapt to a healthy lifestyle. Supplements are just a supporting cast, they will only be as good or bad as your main lead, which is Diet. Honestly, half of the supplements are useless as well.

4: Lack of Planning:

Most people jump into the process without having a proper road map. They will just randomly do things and try everything that anyone says gives results. When you try random things, you will get random results, it’s just inevitable.

5: Being Slave for the Scale:

When it comes to seeing results, there are many parameters, your energy levels, Body Composition etc. These things are hardly noticed by people, they will just jump on the scale and let the stupid scale judge themselves. It’s like the scale it calling them out with names. Really, you want to let the scale bully you??

Rather, look at the overall results, how well are you performing at the gym, are the clothes getting lose (reducing in inches), Quality of sleep, Skin & hair Quality.

6: No Exist Plan:

What to do once you have achieved results after weeks of dieting?? This is the most common error people make and end up gaining all the weight back.

To have lasting results, you need to plan how to get back to your usual routine, without this you are as good as before. It is so important to value your own hard work.

What do we conclude with this?

Losing weight/fats requires us to stay away from a few foods we love and habits we have been following. It also means making subtle changes to our Daily lifestyle and routine.

Think before you choose. You will only get results by following a plan consistently for over a period of time. This is possible only if the plan is sustainable for you. Now that you have a guideline for the mistakes, I hope you will surely avoid them and get better results.
