Stay Motivated To Workout At Home

16 Dec 2021

The world is facing its biggest crises since World War II, People are asked to quarantine themselves for their own safety. Gyms are closed and so many fitness freaks are thrown away from their fitness routine. This change is pretty difficult to digest including me, but what makes us human dominate the earth’s surface is our own ability to adapt and readjust ourselves.

I have chosen to keep my workout routine simple and at home. But for many of you this may be a challenge given the lack of motivation to workout you get at home.

So how can you beat the laziness and kick off some calories at home and stay fit and active Here is some way to do so:

1) Look up for celebrities’ profiles:

Well yes, although I am a firm believer that when it comes to nutrition celebrities are a piece of S***, but you can certainly look up to them when it comes to adhering to a routine. They are pretty strict with their workout regime and they follow them to the core. Looking up to them gives you a push to begin your workout routine as well “if they can do it, so can I”.

2) Get Started:

This is the most difficult part, so you should just shut all the noises asking you to stay on your couch and just start with your workout. May be a few jumping jacks, squats, push-ups etc.…. but starting with the workout will make you feel fresh, energized and motivate you to continue the same the next day.

3) Chose a workout plan to suite your goal:

Take out the guess work and plan a workout schedule which suits your goal, it may be strength, building endurance or losing Fats. This gives you focus point to stay on. If you are confused on how to prepare a home workout schedule, then you should.

4) Workout with Virtual partner:

In this world dominated with virtual realities and online apps, you can easily get your friends to join in and workout together. Set definite goal to be achieved as a group and sweat out together in each workout session. Keep motivating each other and this also give your time to bond with friends and family.

5) Put on Your Workout Attire and Set your Playlist:

This gets you on the zone, play your favorite music and dress up for the workout, now you have something to look forward to in your day. Make each workout session fun.

6) Fix you Routine and Place:

Grab a fixed spot at home for workouts, fix a routine and time of the day. This helps you to follow a schedule throughout the day and get everything done on time. Your meals and other daily routine is automatically on time and your bodies clock is set to workout at a particular time of the day so it gets active during those hours and there is less scope of any laziness kicking in.

I hope this helps, and remember this is just a temporary phase and you should be up for all challenges. Following your routine even during these days shows how mentally tough you are and will only make you a better and stronger person.
